Took a while to finish this up and I think this ended up being a rather nice and satisfying tribute (when I think back, I was almost giving up the fight with the cell shading... I just couldn't find the right way with the outlines and flat-coloring)

Pencil doodle, outlined in PS, added texture.

EDIT: some of you thought this is my fisrt cell-shading...-IT ISN'T...askjdfhghdkks...NO! :'D I just don't do it often, because I have troubles making the lines smooth and..generally, the work on it is slow. So I rather digi-paint or do traditional.
