She's real

I must be getting on your nerves of steel with all the chellman pictures :'D Not amusing probably, for a part of you.
I simply love this ship....it's deep, human, warm, wonderful and with so many possibilities.

For most part I can blame and her "Out of the Fire" fiction, which I am unhealthy addicted to... It's sheer poetry and beauty with a very appealing portrayal of these two great characters and their life and fears...
and how they bumped into each other, realizing, they are both human who share so much in common.

If you haven't read it yet, I can only recommend....
This picture is a bit spoilerish - the text in the background is all from the fiction, chapter 16 (the latest chapter, so if you really haven't read it, READ FROM CHAPTER 1 PLEASE! Or you'll miss out some really great stuff!)

The fic's still being written, it's evolving and blossoming.... I am very curious about how it's going to turn out

IMPORTANT NOTE
Basically, the story was set a few years after Chell managed to escape from Aperture (after P2) and found a new life in a nearby town. Douglas managed to get out as well, heavily damaged and she found him near the shed... They started to live together, their relationship was something like close souls or even soulmates I'd call it... (since they went through the same hell and helped each other). They found new life-purpose and love.... But GLaDOS held other subjects prisoner and tortured Dough shortly before releasing him.... He and Chell planned to go back to Aperture and save them...but they were full of fears and doubts, whether it's a good idea or not (since the chence of getting back was slim).
The last released chapter followed their way to old parts of town, that didn't survive the combine-apocalypse and where a secret entrance and base of Aperture was placed... They wanted to bring Wheatley back, so that he would help them hack their ways back into the building, without GLaDOS noticing too early....
