I know, I was soooo confused when Vavle said Carolyn but spelled it Caroline xD Quite honestly, that was the ONLY thing that bothered me about the entire game XDDDDD I'm such a weirdo lol.

No, it's Carolyn. Caroline is pronounced as it looks, care-oh-line. In the game, they pronounce it Care-oh-lin which is spelled Carolyn. So yes, Valve spelled it wrong. Two different names, two different spellings.
my best friend has that name, I'm pretty sure I know how to spell it :P
